John Martin Magenau Jr. acted as the company's President and COO up until the brewery closed in 1978. Jacobs began studying acting when she was eight years old and took Saturday lessons in acting at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed in the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she was crowned the winner of the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest many times. Mt. Jacobs and graduating in 2000 from Lebanon High School, moved into New York City New York in the year 2000, where she attended The Juilliard School. In 2004, she graduated with a bachelor's degree.
